Are you in the market for a new SUV? Ford has long been a trusted name in the automotive industry, known for its commitment to quality, durability and innovation. With a range of SUV options to choose from, finding the right Ford SUV for your needs can be an exciting but daunting task. This comprehensive guide will walk you through the key factors to consider when choosing the perfect Ford SUV so you can make an informed decision. Define Your Needs The first step in selecting the right Ford SUV is to determine your specific needs and priorities. Ask yourself questions like:
  • How many passengers do you need to accommodate regularly?
  • Do you require ample cargo space for sports equipment, groceries, or other items?
  • Will you be towing trailers or boats, requiring a vehicle with towing capacity?
  • Is fuel efficiency a top priority?
  • Are you looking for a vehicle with advanced technology and safety features?
Understanding your needs will narrow down your choices and ensure you find an SUV that suits your lifestyle. Which Ford Bronco is the Best for You?Size Matters Ford offers a variety of SUV sizes, from compact to full-size. Here are the main categories: Compact SUVs: Perfect for urban drivers who value fuel efficiency and maneuverability. Models like the Ford Escape are great choices in this category. Midsize SUVs: Ideal for families and those needing more space and seating capacity. The Ford Explorer and Ford Edge are popular midsize options. Full-Size SUVs: If you need maximum seating and cargo capacity, full-size SUVs like the Ford Expedition are your best bet. Choose the size that fits your needs and preferences, keeping in mind factors like parking and city driving if applicable. Learn More on the Ford ExpeditionPerformance and Efficiency Consider the type of engine and drivetrain that aligns with your driving style. Ford offers a range of engine options, including fuel-efficient four-cylinders, powerful V6s, and even hybrid or electric powertrains in some models. If you're concerned about fuel efficiency, look for SUVs with EcoBoost technology, which delivers a balance between power and fuel economy. If you need towing capability, ensure the SUV's towing capacity meets your requirements. Safety Features Ford is renowned for its commitment to safety. Look for SUVs equipped with advanced safety technologies like:
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Lane-keeping assist
  • Blind-spot monitoring
  • Forward collision warning
  • Automatic emergency braking
These features not only enhance safety but also provide peace of mind during your travels. Technology and Connectivity In today's tech-driven world, connectivity is essential. Check for infotainment systems that support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, as well as features like a touchscreen interface, navigation, and a premium sound system. Comfort and Interior Quality Your comfort matters, especially if you spend a lot of time on the road. Consider factors such as seating materials, interior design, and features like heated and ventilated seats, a sunroof, or a power liftgate. Budget and Financing Before heading to the dealership, set a budget and explore financing options. Don't forget to factor in ongoing costs like insurance, maintenance and fuel. Test Drive Multiple Models Once you've narrowed down your choices, visit a Ford dealership and test drive the SUVs on your shortlist. Pay attention to how the vehicle handles, the comfort of the seats, visibility, and any unique features or quirks that stand out to you. Resale Value Consider the long-term value of your Ford SUV. Ford vehicles tend to have strong resale value, but it's still wise to research the expected depreciation rates for your chosen model. Research Reviews and Reliability Lastly, research independent reviews and reliability ratings for the Ford SUVs you're interested in. This will give you insights into real-world experiences and help you gauge the long-term reliability of the vehicle. Choosing the right Ford SUV involves a combination of assessing your needs, considering performance and safety features, exploring technology and comfort options, and staying within your budget. By following this comprehensive guide, you'll be well-equipped to make an informed decision and drive away in the perfect Ford SUV for your lifestyle and preferences. Happy car shopping!

Ford Donates Millions To Military Charities This Holiday Season

What a great story to get you into the Christmas spirit after a year of uncertainty. This holiday season, Ford Motor Company and Ford dealers are showing their support for U.S. military heroes by donating $3.5 million to military charities as part of the company’s Proud to Honor program, which works to raise awareness of the needs of veterans and to support partners who address those needs. “We are humbled by the sacrifices made by our military service members and their families,” said Mark LaNeve, Ford vice president, U.S. marketing, sales and service. “Our Ford dealers are woven into the fabric of their communities and I’m proud of the support they provide to make a difference in the lives of our vets.” Through the Proud to Honor initiative, Ford raises awareness for members of the military, strengthen existing programs, and create a viable connection with those serving their country. Presently, Ford employs approximately 6,000 veterans. We can all help too with raising awareness for our veterans. Anyone who shares a post on social media reflecting pride in a member of the U.S. military, using #proud honor, Ford will donate $100 to be split evenly between the seven Ford Proud to Honor military charities, up to $3.5 million through Dec. 31, 2020. Proceeds will be directed to wonderful programs such as Blue Star Families, Guitars for Vets, DAV, Workshops for Warriors, Oscar Mike, Bunker Labs and Boulder Crest Foundation. In other news, Ford Motor Company and Pro Football Hall of Fame are combining efforts for the Ford Proud to Honor Hall of Heroes, in recognizing deserving military men and women who exemplify hard work, selflessness, and a commitment to excellence. Kathy Roth-Douquet, the founder of the national nonprofit Blue Star Families, became the first member of the Hall of Heroes. Ford will donate $10,000 worth of toys for Blue Star Families’ charity drive benefiting the children of military families.
