The Return of the Ford Splash Package

“We’re giving Ranger customers something unique with Splash,” said Chad Callandar, Ford Ranger marketing manager. “Ranger customers love to personalize their trucks – more than 80% customize their Ranger with an appearance package.” “Every few months, we’ll release a new exterior color for Ranger that will be available for a limited time only.”

The Splash Package and the Splash Limited Edition will both be available. The Splash Package includes body-side orange and black graphics as well as special 18-inch 12-spoke matte black wheels that will be available throughout the model year. Orange grille nostrils, as well as gloss black accents on the grille, bumpers, rearview mirror caps, wheel lip moldings, and fender vents, are all part of the Ranger Splash package. Exclusive seats with orange contrast stitching and a unique carbon grain with tuxedo stripes – leather-trimmed in the Lariat – are featured in the interior. The steering wheel, gear shifter, and parking brake boot all have orange contrast stitching on them. The front and rear armrests, as well as the dash top, are also stitched in orange on Lariat models.

Every few months, Ford will reveal Splash Limited Edition trucks in a series of one-of-a-kind colors with only a few hundred vehicles available. The first batch is led by The Splash – Snow Edition.
