Ford details upcoming ‘Performance Pack’ upgrades for 2019-2020 Ranger 4x4s

The 2020 Ford Ranger 4×4 might just be the ultimate mid-size truck, with great style, surprising performance and unmatched off-road capability right off the showroom floor. Now, Ford is giving Ranger owners the ability to up the off-road ante even further thanks to three new accessory packages from Ford Performance that will make your Ranger into even more adventure-ready when you feel the need to leave the pavement behind. The upgrades don’t stop at looks, either. The Level 2 and 3 kits include performance upgrades to give your Ranger even more horsepower and torque out on the trail!

“Our goal is to inspire customers by giving them capabilities and styling options from the aftermarket brands they love,” said Eric Cin, global director, Ford Vehicle Personalization. “The three new Ford Performance Packs empower our adventure-loving Ranger customers to explore even further with even more freedom with the added off-roading capability right from the dealership.”

The new Ranger Performance Packs come in three different levels, and can be dealer-installed right here at McLarty Daniel Ford on any 2019 or 2020 Ranger 4×4, without affecting any existing factory warranties. All three packages will feature an off-road leveling kit with shocks by off-road racing provider Fox, along with unique Ford Performance graphics on the bed and windshield and new 17-inch Dyno Gray alloy wheels.

The Ranger Ford Performance Level 1 package, which costs $2,495 plus installation, includes:

• Off-Road leveling kit
• FOX 2.0 Performance monotube front and rear shocks tuned by Ford Performance
• Ford Performance 17-inch Dyno Gray wheels
• Ford Performance bedside graphics and Ford Performance windshield banner

The Ford Performance Level 2 package, which costs $4,495 plus installation, includes all the Level 1 items plus:

Ford Performance engine calibration, which increases horsepower to 315 hp, while increasing torque nearly 20 percent to 370 lb.-ft.

• BFGoodrich KO2 265/70-17 tires
• Off-road fog light kit by Rigid
• Ford Performance calibration
• Blue tow hooks
• Ford Performance stainless steel license plate frame

The Ford Performance Level 3 package, which costs #8,995 before installation, includes Levels 1 and 2 items plus:

• 40-inch LED light bar kit by Rigid.
• Red tow hooks
• Winch-ready front bumper by Ford Performance and ARB
• Ford Performance chase rack
• 2.3-liter Ford Performance sport exhaust

The Ford Performance Level 1 and 2 packages for 2019 and 2020 Ranger 4×4 pickups will be available for order in August 2020. The Level 3 package will be available for order next summer.
